Courtney Caranguian
Owner /Birth & Postpartum Doula

Aloha! I’m Courtney and I grew up in Kailua where I still reside today. I am a a mom to two beautiful keiki and a wife to a supportive partner. My favorite pastime is hiking and you’ll usually find me on a trail. On my days off I hang with friends, drink coffee or head to the beach. I also love music, dancing and watching movies!

My journey as a birth professional started with me being a babywearing educator. In helping caregivers with babywearing, mixed with my personal birth and postpartum journeys, I had a desire to further my understanding of how to assist and support others in these times of life. This is why I became a Birth and Postpartum Doula!

How I DOula…

Helping families feel valued is of utmost importance to me. I believe that if families are healthy then babies have a higher chance of being healthy too. If we honor families, furthermore honor the birthing person, and give them the capacity to honor themselves, I truly believe a family will flourish.

Through my ancestral and spiritual beliefs I have honed into my natural skills of supporting birthing persons and their partners through their labor/birth journey. I aim to enhance the relationship between these partners, help to radiate love in the birth space and overall hold space emotionally and energetically. I believe in the birthing person’s I support, that they know what is best and I support the choices they make.
